Peace and Joy

Today (Sunday, April 7), the Air1 verse of the day was:

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

~~ Colossians 3:15, NLT

And on St. Patrick's Day (the 5th Sunday in Lent), the responsorial Psalm was:

The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.
~~ Psalm 126:3

I am feeling the peace and the joy! God is good!!

And that always makes me think of my dear friend and book partner for over 20 years, Joy. Now there's someone who brings me great joy! I <3 br="" joy="" u="">

Albert Einstein on Asking Good Questions

This goes along with creativity, obviously, but I'm really intrigued by folks who ask good questions and pursue them over an extended period of time. Albert Einstein obviously knew the power of asking good questions when he said,

"To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science."

"I am neither especially clever nor especially gifted. I am only very, very curious."

And you ask really good questions, Albert!

Albert Einstein on Creativity

Albert has a lot of quotes about creativity. Here's the latest I found (thank you Alex L. for posting it on your Facebook feed).

"Creativity is intelligence having fun."

On June 7, 2012, Kevin Roddy wrote an entry on an advertising agency blog titled "Albert Einstein Would Have Been a Stellar Agency Creative: Undying Curiosity Is One of the Secrets to Success in Advertising." In it, he quotes Einstein and talks about the importance of creativity in the advertising business. I don't think creativity is exclusive to the advertising industry...Albert would want each and every one of us to think creatively, to work hard, and to enjoy life.
